In the spirit of Halloween:

Have you ever shaken your head walking on the street or in a park thinking to yourself, “did that dog and owner look alike?”

It could be coincidence, subconscious purchase of the dog, or flat out twisted desire to have your dog look like you, but I’m noticing it more and more these days.

A lot of the times, I’m noticing that the dogs are groomed to look similar to their owners (ie the photo above).

However, sometimes is seems like the person is groomed to look like the dog:

Regardless, it is impossible to not acknowledge this “epidemic” is getting extremely ridiculous and needs to stop.  People are people.  Dogs are dogs. That’s that.

Don’t groom them to look like people as much as dress them like people.  What if your mom groomed you to look like a frog or a donkey (note: these are costumes and really looking like an animal would be much worse).
