Months after Michael Vick’s return to action, we have another big story of dog abuse from the world of football. This time, it’s dogs being killed dogs being forced to fight a dog wearing a shirt for a crowd.
Wait, that’s abuse?

I’m a huge fan of natural beauty both in humans and in our little pooch friends. But this past weekend I saw a woman who looked like natural beauty Amanda Lepore (warning: clicking the link may cause stints of blindness, curable by rinsing with plenty of bleach).
That got me thinking, I’m sure there have never been any drastic aesthetics performed to dogs outside the “normal” haircut and grooming necessities to make dogs look ‘pretty‘.
Boy was I WRONG!

Why get a dog if you don’t want to clean up after it? Dogs don’t have thumbs. They can’t clean up after themselves. So it’s your job to do it. I get so irritated seeing all these gadgets that make extremely lazy people even lazier. It was only a matter of time before the idiotic infomercial marketers decided to think of this one:

It’s Sunday. I’m in Long Island after a LONG night at a family wedding. My alarm goes off at 8:45AM before my 10AM brunch. I shower, flip on the TV while I get ready and the next thing I know, my favorite infomercial (besides the Shamwow of course) comes on.
I get a chuckle by the fact that they have a new(ish) line called Designer Snuggies as if leopard print would change my mind. I thought this would be rock bottom for the Snuggies folks, but THEN they dig themselves deeper into the pits of informercial hell when they announced…

Over the weekend, I went to Coney Island (hold your judgment until after reading the whole post).
I saw a dog with spiked pink spray painted hair and slippers with bells on them…no joke (this will give you a good idea of what it looked like)! I immediately felt sorry for the dog and even sadder for the owner because they’re either cruel for maliciously doing it or ignorant for thinking their pets look “cute”. (more…)
