Look, I know I’m cute. It’s an inescapable fact, like gravity or Matthew McConaughey being inexplicably shirtless in a cookie-cutter romantic comedy.

But am I million-dollar cute?

That’s the question that’s been chasing its tail in my head ever since I saw All-American Pet Brand’s competition to find the cutest dog.

Every day people send pictures of their pooches to  fit the day’s theme.  The daily winners win an iPod Nano, and the cutest dogs of the week not only moves on to the semifinals but took home a cool 500 bones.

The 12 semi-finalists have already been decided, and are now competing for 4 top finalist spots. All 4 finalists are guaranteed at least $5,000, with the winner taking home a cool $1,000,000.

That’s a lot of kibble.

So much, in fact, that the contest has been featured on FoxNews, CBSMoneyWatch, CNNMoney and YahooFinance.
